Visiting

The past week has been pretty busy and rather lovely.
The bed for my new house arrived safe and sound, it's gorgeous!! It did take an hour to put together but we eventually got there. Going to stay at the house next weekend with Ian which I am very excited about :)
Monday was as close to perfect as you could get. Ian had taken the day off work and treated me to such a lovely day. We went to see Dark Night Rises which was amazing! We then had a few drinks in the Met before we went out to Pizza Express. We spent the night drinking hot chocolate with Stay Puft marshmallows, he had been to Forbidden Planet the day before and also got me a bottle of Tru Blood :)

Tuesday the Olympic torch came to Uxbridge. It went right through Brunel University which is a couple of minuets from my house so the Mother and I went down to see it. It was actually really exciting, the atmosphere was great and everyone was so lively. We were right at the front and got to see the kiss, it was only until the torch bearer walked right past me after the torch had been pasted on that I realised it was Mark Ronson!

Wednesday my wonderful uni friend Ryan came to stay with me. We descended upon the Met where we had a few drinks and then ordered some dinner. We then got an ice cream and sat in Fassnidge park while the sun set. We headed to the Yarn for a drink but it wasn't that nice there so went back to the Met and finally we ended up at the Treaty. Ryan was wasted! It was hilarious. We got cheesy chips on the way back, most of which he threw up when we got back.

Thursday I made a fry-up to help our hangovers and then he had to depart to catch his train. It was so nice that he came to visit and I had such a nice time :)
Friday was Ian's mum, Sue's, birthday. I had made a chocolate cake and got some flowers for the occasion so in the evening I headed over to theirs for a wonderful barbecue and lots of wine. We all watched he Olympic opening ceremony which I thought was really good, so typically British.
I've somehow managed to really hurt my wrist. No idea how, just woke up and was in agony :/ So I am all bandaged up and haven't really done much this weekend.

Mini Millers Birthday

Last Saturday was the wonderful Jess's birthday. The week before was spent sorting out her presents with Hannah. We made some amazing chocolate ladybug cupcakes and made an amazing moonpig card. I also made a strange stuffed toy thing like I do most years for her.
Saturday evening we all descended on the Yarn to begin the night with heavy drinking. There were so many people there. When we were suitably drunk we made our way to Liquid. I haven't been there in years, if it hadn't of been Jess's birthday I don't think I would of gone, it's not my favourite place but it was actually pretty fun. I ended up leaving and getting a drunken subway and being taken home to Ian's by Louis and Kishan.

This week has been spent in the company of my wonderful boyfriend and my lovely new television that he brought me. I'm so lucky! We have enjoyed watching many films in better quality and not on a huge boulder of a tv. He has treated me so much recently. We have a wonderful Monday to look forward to watching the new Batman and a lovely meal out, hopefully I can wear my new dress :)
I have received the inventory back for the house and it is not looking good, pretty sure we aren't going to get the deposit back, or very little of it. So pissed off :/ But in better news, tomorrow I'm going to the new house to pick up my gorgeous new bed that is being delivered! Can't wait to move in :)

Naming Rebecca Jane

Not an awful lot has happened since last time I updated. Jess has been away on holiday so I haven't seen her or Han in a while but we intend on catching up very soon.
Saturday was an eventful day. The parents, Ian and I were invited to little Becky's naming ceremony. None of us had ever been to one or knew what it entailed. It was basically a non religious christening. It was really  sweet and she was so well behaved! After we all returned to Becky's grandparents house (Bob and Heather's) where we scoffed ourselves with bbq food and Ian and I consumed our body weight in chip sticks.

Also just found this. Was when I first saw Becky at just one week old. Now she's 6 months old! She's grown so much!

After a quick dash home Ian and I made our way to Uxbridge where we met up with a few others and started drinking at the Met. We then all headed to the Treaty for a very messy Rock night. It was such a good night! I must admit things got a bit blurry as the night went on but from what I remember it was great :) Don't think I have seen it that busy there in a while. Had some very funny conversations and unusual mixes of drinks and of course the standard drunken subway :)

Sunday was spent recovering and moaning that my legs hurt. Keri and I did sprinting Friday and both of our leg muscles are still in agony! Was meant to be running again tonight but we have postponed it til tomorrow so today will just be spent being lazy.

Also no idea why all of a sudden my writing has decided to be highlighted in white and for some reason it wont let me change it back :/
