Photo Update

I finally have internet in the house! So after this post hopefully all shall return to normal updating. Along with the internet we now have a working shower that doesn't just consist of REALLY hot or REALLY cold temperatures.

Day trips in London with the Boy

Hannah's 21st in Reading
(Also Ian had his 23rd but I didn't get any photos)

Lovely times with Keri

Freshers! Where I have met some great new friends :)

And Ian coming to stay last weekend for Crash

I'm sure there's a lot more, like our Avengers movie marathon and dinners out and trips with the new housemates but I don't have photos or if I do I have to be up in 6 hours so can't be bothered to look. Night!

No internet

My humblest of apologies for the severe lack of posts but unfortunately my new uni house still doesn't have internet. I was going to try and update when I visited home but I was a bit busy watching 14 hours of Marvel films and scoffing my face with pizza and sweets.
SO much has happened in the past month and all has been amazing. I have moved into my new house with Lucinda and Rebecca and it's going great. It's really homely and clean and we cook once a week for each other with is lovely.
First week of freshers was amazing, met loads of new people which was great and now knuckling down to some work. First project is brilliant, get the chance to create a piece that could be sold at a museum.

There is literally so much that has gone on that it has all molded into one. I shall do a photo post next time I get the chance to use the internet because as always I photograph everything so hopefully that shall tell the story of my past month :)
Unfortunately we are not expected to get internet for another 2 weeks so there may be a delay :(

Lovely outings

I've had some lovely outings over the past week. Ian brought me a Reading festival day ticket because he's amazing! So Sunday the 26th we got up nice and early and made our way to Reading. We got there mega early so we missed all of the ques and just walked straight in. The bands we saw: Pulled Apart by Horses, Band of Skulls, Mongol Horde, This is Hell, Polar Bear Club, All Time Low, Kaiser Chiefs, The Black Keys and FOO FIGHTERS!! Which were incredible! Seriously amazing.
We dashed of pretty quickly at the end as I hadn't peed all day and felt like I was going to burst and wanted to go in the station toilets but we saw everything we wanted to and had such an amazing day :)

We recovered most of Monday as we were shattered. Wednesday we went to the cinema to see Brave. The cinema was packed with little kids which was rather annoying and the girl behind us gave a running commentary of what was happening. Nevertheless it was a good film, not as good as other Pixar films but still not bad. In the evening Ian made me brenner :)
Thursday we went up to London hoping to go to the Natural History Museum and Science Museum but due to it being the last week of the summer holidays it was packed! There was a HUGE queue to get in and they were only letting people in when people came out so we decided we would go another time. We got a Subway and headed home. Last Thursday I went out for a bike ride on my own and had such a nice time that I asked Keri if she wanted to join me for one in the evening so we had a nice cycle along the canal.

Friday I looked after baby Becky for a bit where she cried the majority of it.

In the evening I met up with Keri and we went to watch the guys of Brannigan's Law practice which was pretty fun. A few of us then had a drink at the pub before heading home.

Yesterday Ian was holding his birthday celebrations so I headed over to his for a BBQ where everyone else joined too and we played the new Olympics game. After stuffing ourselves with burgers and sausages and ribs and steak we went to the Met and then onto the Treaty. Way too much alcohol was drank and some silly things said but it all turned out ok in the end.
We were meant to be going to the cinema today to see Galaxy Quest but everyone was way too hungover to go so just going to recover for the rest of the day :)

Lots of alcohol in my system

The past week there has been many nights out that has involved alcohol. Last Thursday it was a night out to Electric Lounge with a bunch of people. It was such a great night, the end of the night is a little blurry but apparently I fell over into Subway in the middle of town, I'm such class :P

Saturday  we went out to the Met for the return of Lawson and his wonderful girlfriend Helena. We ended up continuing our night at the Treaty and getting rather merry. It was so good to see everyone again, I have missed that group. Ian and I eventually got in at 4am.

Sunday my parents were having a few friends over and doing a BBQ so I headed home to join. Haven't seen some of them in a while, the last time I saw Megan she was about 4 and now shes 10!
The past couple of days I have just been at home helping about the house and making a few bits of jewelry to sell.
Mom had some bad news from the doctors today, shes been diagnosed with diabetes :/ Her mom had it so we assumed one day she would get it. She now needs to be really careful with her diet and do a lot more exercise. Hopefully she can keep it up.

Moronic Man

The weekend was spent in Wycombe with Ian at the new house. It was so nice spending time with just him, we watched so much Breaking Bad! We had a lovely lunch out at Frankie and Benny's and went on a lovely walk in the sun in one of the many woods that surround Wycombe.
Went out with Faye last week. Hadn't seen her in ages so it was so nice to catch up. Luke was there too and I got to meet his new girlfriend, Rosie. She was lovely, we both got so drunk and got on really well.

The same night I got a phone call from my mom informing me that dad has been in a motorbike accident. He only just got the bike and has already broken it :/ He has broken his arm and his leg so is currently off work and milking it for all it's worth. The first couple of days we got on so well and I was being really nice to him and helping him where I could. Then one morning I just woke up and went downstairs and before I could even open my mouth he was having a go at me. Yet again he managed to turn that around to me not having a job. He is a fricking moron, if he doesn't understand something then whatever I say is wrong. He then accused me of being a sponger and saying I sponge off Ian... Everything I buy is from my own savings, student loan or odd income I get and the things Ian has brought me is because he loves me, I don't ask or expect any of it. Gahhh it just stresses me out so much and I now can't wait to move into the house at Wycombe.

Anyways enough of the rant, I have been very busy with my summer project and am nearly finished with it! :)
Keri and I have also been doing well with our fitness however I have hurt my thigh somehow so haven't been on top form the past week but we are still doing well. I really love her to bits, we have so much in common and I can talk to her about anything and everything. Definitely need to have a girly night with her soon :)

Ladies night

Feeling rather hungover today. Had a wonderful night out last night with the ladies in Watford, woke up with the standard grazed knee and taste of Subway in my mouth :P

Ian and I have been a bit ill the past week so unfortunately we didn't go to Wycombe over the weekend but we are planning on going this weekend instead :)
I have finally started my summer project and getting on quite well with it. I am kinda missing uni, I liked doing stuff everyday and seeing everyone. Really miss those guys. Can't wait to move into the new house with Rebecca and Lucinda, really excited to see how we all get on and what it's like at the house. Not long now!! :)

Visiting

The past week has been pretty busy and rather lovely.
The bed for my new house arrived safe and sound, it's gorgeous!! It did take an hour to put together but we eventually got there. Going to stay at the house next weekend with Ian which I am very excited about :)
Monday was as close to perfect as you could get. Ian had taken the day off work and treated me to such a lovely day. We went to see Dark Night Rises which was amazing! We then had a few drinks in the Met before we went out to Pizza Express. We spent the night drinking hot chocolate with Stay Puft marshmallows, he had been to Forbidden Planet the day before and also got me a bottle of Tru Blood :)

Tuesday the Olympic torch came to Uxbridge. It went right through Brunel University which is a couple of minuets from my house so the Mother and I went down to see it. It was actually really exciting, the atmosphere was great and everyone was so lively. We were right at the front and got to see the kiss, it was only until the torch bearer walked right past me after the torch had been pasted on that I realised it was Mark Ronson!

Wednesday my wonderful uni friend Ryan came to stay with me. We descended upon the Met where we had a few drinks and then ordered some dinner. We then got an ice cream and sat in Fassnidge park while the sun set. We headed to the Yarn for a drink but it wasn't that nice there so went back to the Met and finally we ended up at the Treaty. Ryan was wasted! It was hilarious. We got cheesy chips on the way back, most of which he threw up when we got back.

Thursday I made a fry-up to help our hangovers and then he had to depart to catch his train. It was so nice that he came to visit and I had such a nice time :)
Friday was Ian's mum, Sue's, birthday. I had made a chocolate cake and got some flowers for the occasion so in the evening I headed over to theirs for a wonderful barbecue and lots of wine. We all watched he Olympic opening ceremony which I thought was really good, so typically British.
I've somehow managed to really hurt my wrist. No idea how, just woke up and was in agony :/ So I am all bandaged up and haven't really done much this weekend.

Mini Millers Birthday

Last Saturday was the wonderful Jess's birthday. The week before was spent sorting out her presents with Hannah. We made some amazing chocolate ladybug cupcakes and made an amazing moonpig card. I also made a strange stuffed toy thing like I do most years for her.
Saturday evening we all descended on the Yarn to begin the night with heavy drinking. There were so many people there. When we were suitably drunk we made our way to Liquid. I haven't been there in years, if it hadn't of been Jess's birthday I don't think I would of gone, it's not my favourite place but it was actually pretty fun. I ended up leaving and getting a drunken subway and being taken home to Ian's by Louis and Kishan.

This week has been spent in the company of my wonderful boyfriend and my lovely new television that he brought me. I'm so lucky! We have enjoyed watching many films in better quality and not on a huge boulder of a tv. He has treated me so much recently. We have a wonderful Monday to look forward to watching the new Batman and a lovely meal out, hopefully I can wear my new dress :)
I have received the inventory back for the house and it is not looking good, pretty sure we aren't going to get the deposit back, or very little of it. So pissed off :/ But in better news, tomorrow I'm going to the new house to pick up my gorgeous new bed that is being delivered! Can't wait to move in :)

Naming Rebecca Jane

Not an awful lot has happened since last time I updated. Jess has been away on holiday so I haven't seen her or Han in a while but we intend on catching up very soon.
Saturday was an eventful day. The parents, Ian and I were invited to little Becky's naming ceremony. None of us had ever been to one or knew what it entailed. It was basically a non religious christening. It was really  sweet and she was so well behaved! After we all returned to Becky's grandparents house (Bob and Heather's) where we scoffed ourselves with bbq food and Ian and I consumed our body weight in chip sticks.

Also just found this. Was when I first saw Becky at just one week old. Now she's 6 months old! She's grown so much!

After a quick dash home Ian and I made our way to Uxbridge where we met up with a few others and started drinking at the Met. We then all headed to the Treaty for a very messy Rock night. It was such a good night! I must admit things got a bit blurry as the night went on but from what I remember it was great :) Don't think I have seen it that busy there in a while. Had some very funny conversations and unusual mixes of drinks and of course the standard drunken subway :)

Sunday was spent recovering and moaning that my legs hurt. Keri and I did sprinting Friday and both of our leg muscles are still in agony! Was meant to be running again tonight but we have postponed it til tomorrow so today will just be spent being lazy.

Also no idea why all of a sudden my writing has decided to be highlighted in white and for some reason it wont let me change it back :/
