Happy Holidays

The days leading up to Christmas was mainly spent with Ian. I did some baking with my mom and made mince swirls and some pretzels covered with white chocolate which I gave away as gifts.


Christmas eve was spent with Faye and a few of her friends. We had a drink in the Slug then onto the 3 tuns then Met and finally the Treaty. Had such a good night and it was great to see people on xmas.


Christmas day was spent at my aunt and uncles along with my grandad, parents, cousin and her nan. We had chicken and lamb for lunch with all the trimmings. Morgan and I spent the whole day watching Jackass. Boxing day was very much the same apart from it was spent at our house and we had steak and ale pie for lunch and I drank a lot more Baileys. Ian came round in the evening and got to meet the family briefly.


Ian and I hit the sales yesterday. I got a few tops but that's about it. We had a bit of lunch and then went to the cinema to see the new Sherlock. I spent the night at his watching our new addiction, Sons of Anarchy.
Today I went to housemate Jess's house, things have been pretty bad between us recently. Not sure why this has happened but people have been saying I have said things behind her back, which is certainly not true. I like to think I can pride myself of people having confidence in what they tell me, that's how I feel with Jess and Han anyways. I don't know why other people feel the need to mess up other peoples relationships. But things seem to be all sorted now, I hope she believes me because I don't want to loose her as a friend and I would love to live with her next year.
After sorting everything out we watched Marley and Me and then she drove me home. I had a fry up for dinner and now just trying to find music to have at my new years party.

Home for the holidays

I am now back in the comfort of home. It's so nice to be back and see Ian pretty much everyday.
Came back late Friday night, mom dropped me off outside the Met where I caught up with a few people I hadn't seen in ages.
I went shopping with my mom the other day, I finally finished all of my xmas shopping so that is all wrapped up and under the tree now. We had a nice lunch out and a look round the shops.
Jess and Han came over for an evening, we watched Hot Chick, ate duck rolls and had a wonderful catch up. I have missed those girls.
Spent the majority of time with Ian, watching films and drinking tea.
Just got back from the Malt Shovel where I had a few drinks with the Law and Keri before they headed off to a band practice.
My parents have informed me that I can have a new years party at the house, so excited! :)

Last night

The initial plan for yesterday was to go to uni and get loads of work done, however this failed. On arrival in town I bumped into Norm, we decided to take a wonder around town and buy some donuts at one of the christmas stools. They were gloriously warm and sugary. We had a wonder around Waterstones looking at comics and then Shaun joined us. We all went to the Goblin for a few drinks and games of pool. We were joined by Cakey, Kris and Dave a little later. We arranged to re-meet a bit later and head to the SU for a big night out.
I scoffed my face with dominos pizza and red wine and then took my drunken self to the SU. Yet more alcohol was consumed and many awesome tunes danced to.
Today I recovered and watched many movies.
I am now going home tomorrow as I wanted to see people and many people are returning from uni as well so we have planned a nice night out tomorrow to catch up :)

Can't wait for the holidays

The weekend was spent at home, in the comfort and heat of Ian's house. We spent most of the time there as they actually have the heating on, unlike my parents. We pigged out on so much junk food. Drove to KFC, had a chinese takeaway and loads of nachos. We hardly moved from bed and watched endless amounts of movies, it was glorious.
I returned to Wycombe Monday morning, getting the early bus and just making it to uni on time.
After uni I went to the pub with most of the people on my course and had a few drinks. Shaun came down a little later and after a drink with him we left and made our way home, getting soaked in the rain.
Today I went into uni for a CAD session then went to the workshop to try and catch up on some work but I got kicked out because I was wearing a dress so went home and did book work.
I am now freezing my arse off in my room and getting annoyed because the film I want to watch isn't loading. I think I might go to bed.

Getting with the times

Finally I have got a phone that is not from the stone age! I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace. It's a touch screen and I can even go on the internet! To most this is the norm of a phone but to me this is so amazing!
Wednesday my wonderful mother came to the house to drop off said phone and bring the vacuum cleaner so I could clean the state that is my house. I was getting so depressed at being disgusted at the place I live but now I feel so much happier. She did all the washing up and cleaned the kitchen and I cleaned the rest of the downstairs. I really wish it could stay like this but I know it wont :/
Today I have been in bed all day. I got up once for a cigarette and to make a cup of tea, that's it! I'm so fricking lazy.
Going to try and pry myself out of bed to go to the SU tonight but I really can't be bothered. There is loads of good stuff on telly tonight and it will be cold out side :/

I am really looking forward to this weekend, Ian and I are going to celebrate our 2 years. It's strange, I feel kinda weird about it because things have been far from perfect but I still have hope.

Ouch

Uni today was pretty good, I made the majority of my bead. It's not the idea that I originally wanted to go with as I didn't know how to make it and the design was pretty complex but I had a chat with my tutor and she has told me how to do it now. I will do that idea in my free time, when I get some. So instead I simplified it so I could at least have something to show, however it's still not finished, have learnt quite a bit though.


In the process of making this though I hammered my finger instead of the metal :(
I had planned to do lots of work when I got back to the house but it is so cold here my hands were freezing so I literally couldn't hold a pen. So instead I made a hot water bottle and snuggled into bed watching I love you, Man.
I'm so productive...

Xmas decs

Went home again for the weekend, stayed here Friday night though. Went out to the SU for a geek party, spent the majority of the night playing space invaders .

Saturday morning I headed back on the bus with a massive hangover. I was greeted by a lovely cup of tea when I got in and Ian popped over for a little bit before he departed to watch a rugby game.
My mom and I then got all the christmas decorations out from the loft and started to christmasfy the house. I say house... it was only the living room. We listened to christmas songs, wore our santa hats and drank Baileys, like we do every year :)
After some dinner I made my way to Uxbridge to meet Faye and Luke at the Met. I bumped into Ian on the way so he joined us. We only stayed for one drink then returned to Ian's, grabbing some doritos and dip on the way. We spent the evening eating nachos and watching Raiders Of The Lost Ark.
Today we watched family guy and ate a roast.
I am now back in Wycombe, in my freezing, damp room. Can't wait to be back for christmas break.

December

Yesterday I lazed in bed watching a collection of Rom-Com's. 50 First Dates, Splash and Just Married. In the evening I went to the SU to watch the wonder that is The Blanks, aka Ted's band from Scrubs. Halfway through their second song we all got evacuated from the building and had to wait outside for ages in the rain. When we were eventually allowed back in they finished their set and were amazing.


Today was spent at uni trying to make a bead for my project, however I had to choose the most difficult shape ever to do and I failed miserably. So I gave up and went home. Got to start my advent calender today. My mom made me an extra special one.


In the little pockets on the snowman there is a clue on a bit of paper and a chocolate, the clue and the number then match up to a present inside the bag :) They are all useful things for the house, like shampoo or tea bags :P
I have just had cheesy chips for dinner and now searching iplayer for something decent to watch.

I haven't been eating properly recently, I have just lost my appetite. I feel miserable. I want to go home and see my mom and friends, not live in a shit house and have money. I'm so fucking broke and no one has replied to any job applications I have sent out, I can't be that bad can I?! Don't answer that :/
