Snow

Yesterday was spent completing my UCAS application and my personal statement, it's all becoming a bit real that I am actually going to move out and do a full degree!
In the evening I made my way to Ian's where we watched a few movies and Ian shaved his Movember beard into many different and amusing styles.

Today I awoke to a land covered in about 2cms of snow which made me overly excited. Unfortunately this excitement didn't last long as my left eye was the size of a golf ball and really painful. I discovered I had sty and this made me rather upset.
Once I had gotten over the trauma of finding a sty I made a necklace for my uni project, I had hoped to do more work but I stupidly left my sketch book in High Wycombe after my assessment so I lazed around drinking tea and watching Jeremy Kyle with my mom instead.
I headed to Ian's again for some dinner which was rather nice, Ian got his hair cut (really short!) and we spent the evening watching Shrek 2 and drinking tea :)

Freezing few days in Reading

Well not much happened during the week. I just did loads of work for my assessment, which took place on Friday. I feel it went quite well, they weren't too negative about my work and suggested ways in which I could improve but overall I think they were quite pleased with the work I had produced :)
From uni I got the bus which took me straight to Reading. It cost £4.60 compared to the £9.70 the train costs, bargain!! I also found out the bus stops exactly at the end of Ian's road but I had already told him to meet me in town so we had a long walk back.
We then caught up on the latest episode of Fringe, ordered pizza and tried to keep warm.
Saturday we just didn't want to get out of bed as anything outside of the warmth of the duvet was too cold. Ian did some work and I played guitar hero for a bit.
In the evening we met up with Louisa at their student bar to watch the rugby on the big screen. After Wales got their arses handed to them by New Zealand we moved onto a Weatherspoons where we got some food and drank a few pints. When Ian and I got back to his we snuggled up in bed and spent the evening watching films and drinking tea.
This morning was also spent drinking tea and watching many films, a good use of our time I must say :)

Unfortunately I had to leave at about 5 to catch my train. Ian walked me back to the train station and I just about caught my train. When I got home I stuffed down some lovely and hot homemade butternut squash soup and had some mince pies and ice-cream for dessert.
It was a lovely weekend, as is every weekend I spend in the company of Ian, but it is nice to be back to a house that doesn't resemble the inside of a freezer.

Paintings

Well today has been busy. I have been manically trying to get loads of work done before my assessment. I woke up pretty early and got started straight away. I have now finished a painting of Jess, I'm terrible at drawing people but feel this one didn't go TOO badly, sorry Jess :)

(You can't see the shading under her chin in the photo so she looks like she has a huge chin, but I promise it doesn't look like that in real life.)
For my fine art bit of my project I have been doing some work in an old cookery book and this is another painting of Jess in it, with cake on her face. This was done very quickly and isn't very good but I thought it was quite funny, apologies.

I also visited Uxbridge High to see my old head of year so she could help me with UCAS. She didn't exactly do what I hoped she would do which was go through it all online with me and help me fill out, but I guess she is busy. But it was great to see some of my old teachers again and have a catch up :)

Birthday treats

Well Friday was a pretty awesome day. I got ready and headed to Ians to do the cleaning. By the time I had finished, Ian was walking back from the train station so I waited around for him to get home. It was so good to see him again! We ate some pizza and watched the Jim Jeffries dvd that we had seen, you could see me for a split second in the audience :) I then headed back to mine to get ready for the night ahead. Dain was having his birthday get together at the Load so some of us went down. Considering I hadn't drank that much I felt rather drunk and I remember quite little from the night, but what I do remember was good. However I wasn't as bad as Ian, I think a combination of not eating a lot and lack of sleep had taken it's toll on him and so he just crashed out so I had to take him home. Bless him, he was rather drunk and spent the night with his head in my bin and apologising to me :P

Saturday, after a long lye in, Ian and I headed to his so he could charge his phone and then made our way to Sainsburys to pick up ingredients to make muffins :)
We returned to mine, had dinner, watched some television and then proceeded on making muffins. It was quite fun and the outcome was very scrummy. We also brought some white chocolate hot chocolate and marshmallows so scoffed them down while watching the latest episodes of Fringe and Castle and a film called Shutter which was rather good. It was a lovely evening :)

Sunday we lazed about in bed until he had to depart back to Reading :( I then did some work and caught up on some television I had missed over the weekend.
Today was my moms birthday! We had a lovely fry up and then made our way to Uxbridge to watch the new Harry Potter. It was pretty good, it was a lot darker than the other films and jumpy in places, it made me cry too but unfortunately Daniel Radcliffes acting skills have not improved much. We then returned home, drank some tea and watched television. Danny popped over quickly and gave me some tunnels as I am stretching my ear, Murray kindly lent me his stretchers :) Danny also asked me possibly the funniest question I think I have ever been asked, I hope my advice was helpful to him though. When he left my parents and I headed to the Palm Suite where we had dinner. I requested that we sat by the Stargate photos because I'm nerdy like that :)
I stuffed my face with cocktails, duck salad starter and a chicken and bacon burger :)

Overall I have really enjoyed the past few days but unfortunately I have my assessment on Friday so I now really have to crack on with some work.

Chocolate cake

Monday was spent lazing about in my pjs and trying to do work.
Tuesday I went into uni for a meeting about fine art. It was so boring! There were a few artists that came in and spoke to us and did a power point presentation, I nearly fell asleep. But at least it made me realise I don't want to do fine art :)
Wednesday I went into uni again to have a talk about the new course Bucks offers, three dimensional contemporary craft. I was a bit worried that it was just going to be like the day before and be very boring, but luckily I was wrong and it was brilliant! I got to make a pot out of clay and do glass blowing! I have always wanted to do glass blowing and it was so interesting to watch :)
Wednesday was also Jasons birthday so a load of us went out to the Met to celebrate. I met up with Poove at the load before hand and had a quick drink with Dain before meeting the others. We then spent the evening eating chocolate fudge cake, drinking lots and watching some very old embarrassing videos.

Today Jess kindly came over and helped me with my UCAS, we got quite a bit done but mainly just chatted, ate pizza and drank tea :)
I then did some painting of a photo I took of Jess. Danny then popped over for a random visit and we watched loads of videos by Charlieissocoollike and had a nice catch up :)
Ian comes back tomorrow! So excited about seeing him, 2weeks is too long :(

Lack of sleep

Well the past few days have been pretty hectic to say the least.
Wednesday was my day off from uni so I decided I would take the photos needed for my fine art project. This involved having Jess over, buying cake and whipped cream and have her cover herself in it. I love how Jess now doesn't question what I ask her do for my art projects, the only thing she said is "Do I have to take my clothes off this time?" I do love her. The photos went well so hopefully they shall be ok for my project.

Thursday I was back at uni but I couldn't wait for the evening that was ahead of me. Cat, Katie, Catherine and I all went back to Catherine's house after uni, we ordered chinese and watched a few films before getting ready and heading out to the pub. I nearly passed out which isn't good, I have been doing this quite often recently and not sure why :/ But I was fine after a while. We then got a cab to Aylesbury and went to the white hart where we drank pitchers and other alcoholic beverages. Later we went to Stars and continued our drinking. About half 2 it closed but we didn't want to go home yet so we went to the only place that was open, a strip club! This was my first visit to a strip club and it was an experience. The girls were so disgusting but still got a lot of 'business'. We had a go on the poles and timed how long the guys took in the booths :)
We then all headed back to Catherine's where I passed out.

Katie and I had to be up mega early and I only ended up having 3 hours sleep so I was knackered. We got the buses back which took ages, it took me 4 buses to get back home! I then had about and hour to shower, get my bag packed and be back in Uxbridge to meet Jess, Han and Jason. We got the train to Victoria and then ran to catch our coach that was taking us to Portsmouth! Louis and Danielle met us at the bus stop and took us back to the dry and warmth of Louis' flat. The evening was then filled with a pub dinner with rock solid dumplings, drinking wine and margaritas, falling asleep while queuing to get into the club and ruining the chances for a guy to get laid :)
Saturday we had a wonderful fry up at the pub and my first cup of tea in 2 days! Louis then showed us around Portsmouth and we had a wander along the beach, ate ice-creams and took loads of tourist photos :)

After having pizza for dinner we headed back out to watch the local christmas lights get turned on, it was pretty lame but we made it fun by laughing at the giant camel toe one of the guys had, Han making up a chrismas rap and dancing to the terrible uni band. We then went back to Louis' and watched xfactor and played some drinking games. When we were all quite merry we visited the shittiest bar I have ever been to, it was filled with Jeremy Kyle guest wannabes :/ So we downed our drinks and headed somewhere else. We ended up at the same place where we had had breakfast. We drank some very strong drinks, got chatting to some guys dressed as if they were in Braveheart, one of which looked a bit like Mathesar from Galaxy Quest, stole a wig, climbed all over the statue lions and sampled some of the famous Kens chicken which I'm sure was about 10% real chicken!

Today we had to depart so got up early so we could catch our coach home. Once back in London we discovered that the trains were fucked so had to go a really long way round in order to get home but we eventually got there :)
It was such an amazing weekend with so many memorable quotes, catching up with people, drinking, hair flipping and pissing ourselves over the Keennan videos :)

Ginge

Well not much has happened these past two days. Monday a few of us from uni went to the noodle bar for lunch which was lovely and even lovelier with a 20% student discount :)
Not much else has happened really, just trying to get one with my art project.
Dain and I found a mutual love for red heads the other day and I realllllllyyyyy want to dye my hair again. There's a girl on my course at uni and she is so beautiful. She's a red head. Her hair cut is so cute too, it's all sort of layered with a full fringe and down to about her armpits. I have no idea what her name is and I've never spoken to her but I admire her everyday. That's not wierd right? :)

I think I'm a wee bit obsessed, I have so many photos of red heads! The last two are my favourite shades though, not sure if that cut or colour would suit me, really hope it does!

Also thinking this look could be quite fetching for me :)

Loud and colourful things

Friday evening was pretty fun, I met Poovee and Ian at the Met and was soon joined by many others, we drank lots and caught up. The table next to us had got extremely drunk and then felt the need to talk very loudly and thought they were amazing at singing, Hannah and I found this very annoying but enjoyed taking the piss out of them :)
Saturday Ian and I went to the cinema and saw Jackass 3D which was hilarious. As with any Jackass movie or episode there are always a few stunts that go too far but the majority of it was brilliant. We then headed to some family friends of mine with my parents to view some fireworks. They do it every year and it is usually brilliant, I felt this year it wasn't as good though. The food wasn't as nice and there weren't as many people as there usually is but we got sparklers and free booze so it was ok :)

Ian and left fairly early and went back to mine to watch Thirteen ghosts.
Today I applied to UCAS, about time :/
Ian and I then went back to his and watched Predators and had a marvelous roast lamb and peanut butter cheesecake that his mom made :)
Once returning home I have done some art work but I'm getting really stuck on ideas of what to produce for my visual art final piece.
Ian's returned to Reading now and I'm not going to see him for 2 weeks, haven't gone for this long without seeing him in a long time, we shall be fine but I miss him already :(

Remember Remember

Well tonight is bomb fire night, I am not doing anything for this occasion tonight but shall be tomorrow and I am rather looking forward to it.
I had Wednesday off uni and so I had planned to go to London with Cat and a few other uni friends but alas, the stupid train strike stopped me from venturing out of Uxbridge. Instead Jess came round mine and helped me with some photos I needed to take for uni and we had a general nice catch up. In the evening we met up with Luke and Hannah. We headed to Pizza Express but soon realised that it was packed until about 9ish. As our tummies were growling for food we headed to Pizza hut instead. There we caught up with Sam who was working and he was a marvelous waiter for us :)
Thursday was spent at uni and little happened, I ended up coming home as I had nothing I could do there and needed to do research and print stuff off and I wanted to do it in the comfort of my own home. After doing some work I headed to the Load where I met up with Dain, Faye, Sam and a band called Blind Bandannas. We had quite a bit to drink and I don't think I have ever seen the pub so busy!
Today I was awoken by my mom who was in floods of tears. She has been really ill for about 2 years and has been diagnosed with labyrinthitis. It's making her really down, she has been to the hospital for scans so hopefully we should find out exactly whats wrong soon. But today she was feeling really shitty so got sent home from work, I hate seeing her in pain where I can't help, but I made her tea and she seemed a little happier. Shes feeling a lot better now after a nap thankfully.
I then headed to Ian's house to do cleaning, I always find it weird letting myself into his house especially now I have a key!!
Half way through cleaning Ian and his dad turned up. It's good to know Ian's close again and we are going out tonight for drinks so I had better get ready :)

Lost

Exactly what I am feeling right now. Have no real clue what I want to do. Really thinking about a siversmithing or jewelry degree. But parents are saying it's pointless as it's a hands-on job and you need experience, so I should do an apprenticeship, but I don't want to do that, I want the whole uni experience and a degree under my belt. To be honest I know all they are taking into consideration is how much a degree is going to cost them as they are paying for it and they just want the cheap option.
I have no idea what job I would like in the future or even what field of work I want to be in, but I know that silversmithing and jewelry design interests me and I enjoy it, so why not follow your heart and do what you love, but my parents don't seem to understand that.

Give me direction.
Flash.

Give me ideas.

Flash.

Give me a purpose.

Flash.

I'm reading yet another book Ian gave me called Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, definitely recommend it, but that is a reference to it if no one got it :)

Hocus Pocus

I'm better now!! Still a bit swore throaty but tonnes better than I was :)
Ian came back Friday and I went round his after I had returned from uni. We ordered pizza and caught up on the latest episodes of Castle and Fringe which is always a major bonus of seeing him.
Saturday we lazed in bed for a long while and finally decided to drag ourselves out and head to mine for a steak dinner.
We then carved an awesome pumpkin! It had two sides as we both wanted a design, mine was obviously the cat side which I'm so proud of and Ian's was the Transformers, even though I carved both sides while he sat on the computer.

Sunday a few family friends came over and we had a Sunday roast/ dinner party. We had roast pork and yorkshire puds and a homemade apple pie for pudding, made from the apples in our garden :)

Ian unfortunately had to leave early as he had work to complete in Reading :(
I decided as it was halloween I wasn't going to stay in so dressed up a little and went to the Met with a few people. I got way too drunk considering I had to be be up at 7.20 the next morning for uni, but it was a good night nevertheless.
Today has just been spent at uni and then doing uni work at home. I started my fine arts project today and I'm really enjoying it already. I'm so tired now so I'm going to crawl into my bed :)
